I really think they need to quit using the initials on this one. BFG is already a well known abbreviation, and not a small child friendly one. Parents are going to have to explain this to kids time and time again, and many will get it wrong.
I kept waiting for someone to kill that giant with a really big f***ing gun. Maybe that's the climax of the movie?

I kept waiting for someone to kill that giant with a really big fucking gun. Maybe that's the climax of the movie?

Semi.
Anyone my age who played Doom or watched the movie knows the BFG (big f***ing gun) well.

BTW, @Fairbs, it's not really an acronym if you can't say it...BFG is not pronounceable, so it's an abbreviation or initialism....just to pick at some nits.

Perhaps, but it wasn't anywhere near as popular as Doom, or the BFG abbreviation from it, was it? I had never heard of it before this post, but BFG....that I knew well.

Better yet, the thumbnail looks like a giant about to shoot one big f***ing gun!

They should definitely change Homer's name to avoid people confusing him with The Simpson character.

Ummmm.....OK. Most of us can keep a real person who lived 3000 years ago and was one of the more popular/influential writers in history, and a cartoon character named after him....at least those of us that read above the 5th grade level.
Or were you confused by the Odyssey episode of The Simpsons and now you can't tell them apart?
