therealblankmansays...WHO'S THE GRAMMAR NAZI NOW, SMARTASS?!!!
redyellowbluejokingly says...When someone uses the word snuck, I know what exactly they mean. When some daredevil uses 'sneaked', my brain evaporates and I LAARP that I'm a tree sloth licking up a puddle of my own drool.
antsays...JG was sexy in Alias, Daredevil, etc. Is she still hot today?
PHJFsays...Sneaked is technically correct (I heard this on NPR). Snuck is one of those cases where, in America, usage became so common and widespread that it was eventually accepted as the norm.
Years ago I had an argument with an English teacher because she was promoting the use of "alright" while I insisted "all right" was the only correct term. Same thing.
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
I'm going to leave this here:

Deanosays...I can only say that in England we definitely don't use "snuck". And it certainly sounds odd to my ear.

No! Sneaked makes my brain want to explode, in the same way as if someone said the plane flied all the way to France. English is full of irregular verbs, and this is certainly one in common usage in the midlands, or at least amongst my friends and family.
gwiz665says...So snuck kinda sneaked into the language, huh?

Snub isn't a proper word, either. It's 'sneabed'.
