Wow, I remember how revolutionary the graphics were on ColecoVision.
All we had was intelivision!

For what it was, it was a cool system 'for it's time'. Though the C64 still kicked it's ass.

Yes, that was a controller. We had two with ours. Fairly ahead of its time, in that it had the joystick plus *four* buttons (arranged vertically). I remember it being a blast to use with the game Rocky.

My friend wanted me to buy a Playstation 3, but I said, "No thanks. I have my Colecovision, and it's all I'll ever need."

Deathcow got a Coleco for Xmas in 8th grade. Even though we had a pact that we would both get Atari 5200s so we could trade cartridges.

I've yet to forgive him - especially since the 5200 turned out to be a flop.

I had an Atari 2600 myself. Two, in fact. The first one was made of wood (for real). We bought the second when the wooden one packed in, and it was made of new-fangled plastic. To be honest I preferred the wood.

Sadly I had to give up my Colecovision because it didn't support Videosift.

They were right. I'm typing this on my Coleco Vision. I upgraded it by plugging in Adam, the revolutionary Coleco Vision family computer module. That's how I do all my programming.
