Those "Christian's" are outright lying. The bible does not condemn gamblers and drunkards to hell. I doesn't even mention gambling outright.

It does advise in several passages against drunkenness, but it is highly debateable if this means having a few budweisers on a weekend getaway. NOWHERE does it condemn drunkards to hell.

The point above is right; Vegas today is much more than gambling. People could conceivably go there, have a blast and never touch the casino floor.

People should not be degraded for having beliefs anymore than these fanatics condemn people without beliefs. Live and let live, I say.

We all take things on faith, to some extent, even science. I have an engineering doctorate and a physics degree, and I have not verified all of the results of science, including evolutionary theory. What I take on faith is that other scientists have correctly applied the methodology of science to achieve their results.

I know plenty of brilliant people who are believers in some religion. And plenty of nonbelievers with low intellectual capability who try to have an air of superiority because the believe the results of science without necessarily understanding them.

And of course on the videosift, we have plenty of examples of the opposite.
