Daldainsays...Cabin crew wish to announce that lunch will not be served on this flight.
Ghostlysays...Disappointed that they didn't show that take off side on
deathcowsays...That's got to be a rare experience in a transport pilots life to get to fly one of these relatively unladen with all that power available.
sirexsays...even if they did they'd almost certainly need a special licence to fly like this, surely.

robbersdog49says...I doubt the people flying this are the same people who fly the planes on passenger routes. This is a professional test pilot. Not sure about licenses but these guys really know how to fly!

ughsays...If they did that on every takeoff, I would buy the next ticket available. What a rush!
Asmosays...Yeah, I'm guessing light fuel load and seats removed to be able to achieve that sort of power to weight ratio.
Don't get me wrong, it's a hell of a thing to do on a bird that big with just 2 engines, and it's breathtaking to watch.

deathcowsays...Aren't some mild acrobatics (like this) required for a commercial license? I wonder what the biggest plane most ATP have done acrobatics in..
