Ancient egyptian statue moves by itself

The 10-inch tall relic, which dates back to 1800 BC, was found in a mummy’s tomb and has been at the Manchester Museum for 80 years.

But in recent weeks, curators have been left scratching their heads after they kept finding it facing the wrong way. Experts decided to monitor the room on time-lapse video and were astonished to see it clearly show the statuette spinning 180 degrees – with nobody going near it.

Evil Spirits always do the lamest shit.

"Oh lets turn this statue 180 degrees because were sooooo evil. That will totally show them we mean business."

Yeah. I'm quaking in my boots here.

I read that it's been doing it the whole time, but they only realised once they had a camera on it.

I second the vibration theory, it only seemed to move when people walked past during the day... not sure what would cause the vibration at night though. Cleaners? Building under a flight path? More information required.

It has been on the same, sealed, shelf cabinet shelf for 80 years and recently began moving on its own accord? [cue spooky music!]

The simplest explanation? It's an Egyptian version of those Jesus or Einstein statues that follow you with your eyes-Maybe there was a shop in ancient Cairo where you could get one of these for your sand-fort.
