Problem I have with these sorts of shorts is that they seem to state the progress and technology is bad, yet use that same progress and technology to make a point. The medium and content contradict each other.

I'm not sure whether I feel smarter or dumber for watching this.

There wasn't a twist per-se; it's more of a slice of life film. If someone messes with my glasses, I tend to take it personally; I am for all intents and purposes blind without them. Doesn't make his actions right, but then again, no-one was a beakon of moral perfection in that film.
