Insane Norwegian Viking Mountain Climber Training
>> ^BicycleRepairMan:
Perhaps not exactly a dupe, but this is basically a different edit of a video I posted the other day. The one I posted is slightly longer, with commentary from Magnus, translated by me in the description:

Thanks for the heads up, didn't notice yours, so I'll *discard this one then.

Kid reacts to 'Empire Strikes Back' reveal!!!!
I seriously envy these kids Moments such as this one seem to be so far and few in between in modern fiction these days, especially when one is so desensitized from the internet and popular culture as probably any one of us is.

Impressive, but I honestly actually feel uncomfortable upvoting until I know whether this was illegal or not
Sulphuric Acid - This is why you don't want to mess with it

Our science teacher in junior high showed this to our class. Even picked up the charcoal with his hands (no gloves) afterwards. So I suppose it isn't THAT dangerous. (Either that, or he was weird in the head).
I speak from personal experience when I say say that the best chemistry teachers are at least a little weird in the head

Depends on the bike - which I think is an S1000RR? - but he's probably short-shifting as all the power has gone by the time it gets over 11k anyway.
But yes, some of his lines are ... interesting!
>> ^therealblankman:
This rider is really short-shifting badly... I guess that's why they're at the back of the pack.

Shit. Even though I'd like to pretend that my last reply was an elaborate troll comment and I understood you were pulling my leg from the get go, gotta give it to you, you got me good. Shame on you for that, mister poopie-pants.
In reply to this comment by blankfist:
EDD, I am teasing you. And you failed to shame me out of being a dick. Again.
In reply to this comment by EDD:
Well, what I had written previously was rather dumb, something I only realized in retrospect following @<a rel="nofollow" href="http://videosift.com/member/Payback" title="member since July 22nd, 2006" class="profilelink">Payback's comment and I wanted to acknowledge that - so I quoted a line from a movie I liked which was delivered by a complete moron of a character. I'll admit I did have qualms about swearing in the comments of a video of Bill Nye, just because I have tremendous amounts of respect for the Science Guy, but otherwise, it was just my way of over-the-top self-deprecating humor. For what it's worth though I'm honestly sorry and saddened if it made you of all people feel uncomfortable :

Bit sad at this video... Bill is looking a bit old.
That's strange, I was looking at him, thinking that he looks exceptionally well for his age.. which is apparently 55, so he's actually younger than I thought
Umm... if he's YOUNGER than you thought, then he's not looking all that great for his age.
you talk like a fag and your shit's all retarded.
