power vote idea
Every once in awhile you come across a real gem sitting in the queue. An awesome video you only find once a month (a week?). What about a *powervote that would sticky it to the top of the queue? Any other sifter could veto and *unpower the queued video if it wasn't really exceptional.
I know, yet another time-based power, but it might be something to consider now that we are up the the horseshoes and black-opal ranges of sifters.

I like the idea of a *powersticky for the queue. Maybe usable every 4 days - same as save and promote.
joedirtWell I figure the infrastructure is already there, for stickys and time based saves etc. I have seen *awesome also suggested.

oxdottirI guess I sort of like, and sort of worry about this idea. I get annoyed when there is too much sticky stuff, honestly, and there are a lot of people at gold-100 and beyond. the first page, or all the pages, depending on how you do it, could be seriously clogged with stickies.
I do wish there was a better way to say, "hey, you guys! Seriously, this video ROCKS!" As it is, I see, going by in the comments (I read "recent comments" often) point to point things or reciprocal vote deals. A better broadcast than just the mass of votes or the monitoring of the comments would be nice. I would just like it to be something that wouldn't continue to be in my way after I noted the plug (like a sticky would).
