Viewing Discarded Videos
Now available in all user profiles is a short sidebar above the playlist sidebars summarizing the member's discarded videos. If you click on the title of the listing, a comprehensive listing of all discarded videos will be listed in the main part of the page.
This is probably long overdue, but it has finally arrived. Enjoy.

Nice, but...could it moved down to the bottom of the playlist?
I know what you mean. Let's hear what the sift-ocracy feels about it. What say you all, does everyone concur?
I have a nice big screen to view my profile. I think that is the key issue for folks - what size screen do sifters have to deal with.
When I make the window narrow, the right column overlaps everything on the left.
yeah, better at the bottom. hide the mistakes...
LOL, agreed.

I like the new feature, but a little more "out of the way" would be nice.
Great feedback. Thanks.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing it not in a sidebar at all, but that's just me.
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
I concur - down at the bottom - or maybe you are right, it could be better as a link to discards.
Down!Down!Down!
A link to discarded videos! with both playlists and discards, its squashed up my actual profile bit and budged the comments down.

Look for the discard sidebar to be gone by today's end (depending where you are on the planet), unless someone really wants to have the bottom sidebar... ?
There are videos showing up in my discarded that got to the preview stage but which I never actually submitted. e.g. http://www.videosift.com/story.php?id=12655
That's an artifact/side effect of the way the site works, and unfortunately there's nothing that can be done about that. The quirk is, as soon as you start posting a video, it is already considered discarded and only changes when you press the final 'submit' button. So, in the discarded video list it will include those as there's no way (currently) to differentiate them from videos that got completely posted.
