Video websites news & open thread
I saw this new concept of web 2.0 video sites. -->
http://www.neave.tv/
(source vids from YT, GV, and blip.tv)
(also what about adding blip.tv as possible source.. it's javascript player and points to .flv file.. so not a simple embed)
What do you think, will these sites be the tv channels of the future. Is videosift votes database the kind of input to the new world of videos?

I also found vdiddy which appears to like a daily top10 from a dozen online video sites. There might be some embeds that VS doesn't currently support.
Anyone heard of the Canal+ service in Paris? That's the future of internet media (25-45 MegaBits/Second ADSL supplying internet/TV/films etc direct to multiple devices, EG TVs / PCs). BT (over here in the UK) are following suit with their BT Vision service; where they've signed up US companies for internet broadcast rights (a taste of this service is at: http://www.discoverybroadband.co.uk and more info at: http://www.btvision.bt.com/ )
Wow I was just talking about something like that here...

That's nifty! How is youtube giving out all this bandwidth..sheesh. Google I can understand..
For a couple similar ideas, see radioparadise and GBStv.
I just wish I could get an XMBC client to playback VS vids. I can playback stuff like movie trailers / ebaumsworld, but like the editorial flavor/variety here better.
winkler1,
I believe there is a flash player for xbmc now.
You would probably have to hack it a bit though to get it to work with videosift.
