Top 15 Freshness
Lately, I've noticed we've had some really strong posts that have just rocketed up to the highest 3 positions on the Top 15 and hung there for 4 days.
Is there any interest in making the top 15 a bit fresher - say limiting the top 15 to the best over a 2 day period, instead of the current 4?
The downside is that by expiring them from the top 15 more quickly - they will exposed to fewer people - and missed by infrequent visitors.

renI noticed a vid in the top 15 recently had been submitted 6 days ago.. was weird dont remember which one it was.

I agree, but the top list should be based on hotness. So yes, two days, but it should be (Votes received over last 48 hrs) sorted by most votes. So a hot video that is getting 40 votes per day will stay on top of top15 until it stops getting votes.

Some of you know - we do have a "hotness" formula that we were playing with - maybe we could integrate it into the top 15. Good feedback - thanks.

swampgirlI don't pay attention to the top 15 like I used to. My first check in spot is in comments. Perhaps somehow that should be a factor in a video's "hotness" Sure some things get votes, but many of us are more interested in what video is creating the most buzz.
