It's been this way for a while, which is why I think the default setting should be "Newness" instead of "Hotness." That way all videos are seen equally - ones that start off with quite a few votes already get noticed more, anyway. I know the Hot setting makes the front page look more attractive to the general public, but it doesn't really benefit the regular posting/voting members here.

Anyway, it IS much more important that members take the time to go through Unsifted. Even worse, Beggar's Canyon is a freakin' ghost town now. Begging used to be able to get you 3-5 more votes occasionally, but now you'd be lucky to get 1 or 2. Seems worthless to use a Power Point that way. Maybe a *beg should send the video through Unsifted for another day or two, instead.

I know all of my fantastic awesome videos get bypassed. Its like a dusty gravel street in my town instead of a two lane high way. My kids are starving, my upvotes are just not what they should be.
