Ideas for Kids Star Wars Party!
OK, Sorry, I know this is so NOT video related but...
I have 2 days to arrange a Star Wars Birthday Party for my sons 8th Birthday with virtually no budget.
All we have come up with so far is "Pin the Light Saber on the Jedi" - Which I still need to draw.
Anyone have any ideas??

Make a corn hole, but call it Trench Run or something better than that. The beanbags the kids toss are actually proton torpedoes, and the holes to toss them into are thermal exhaust ports.
This idea isn't very good, but... C3PO Race. The kids have to walk like C3PO as fast as they can. Yeah, not very good.
That's what I can think of now, I'll post some more if they come to me.
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
Lightsaber™ fights with Nerf® bats.
Hey, that's the same day as my birthday! And I don't get no cool Star Wars party...
Rancor pit: One child is a rancor and is trying to catch and eat the others. If the rancor catches someone, they become the new rancor. The only difference from the classic old game is that the rancor has to make rancor noises.
These are all great... I'm writing them down... More, More...
Thanks A Lot!!!!!
If any of the kids complain, choke them and blame Darth Vader.
.. did you just suggest cornholing the children?

I also just printed off 40 SW colouring Pages
And downloaded 15 full colour masks for the kids to cut out and wear - We already have at least 6-7 sabers around the house plus a double one...
I'm gonna stick a bunch of SW figures on the cake - all that standard stuff...
My son is going to wear his Jedi costume and we will hang some SW ships around the living room...
...Starting to come together, which is great!
I'll even pull out the SW Trivial Pursuit Game for some trivia.
I encourage such geekdom...
Hire Industrial Light and Magic to change your living room into the Dagobah System. You can't lose.
Or, if you're on a budget I suppose you could designate all the children as Padawan when they come into the party. Throughout the day have small Jedi lessons (just games really) so they can rank up... by the end of the party they're all Jedi Masters!
I just geeked the hell out.
If there are any siblings, make them kiss each other! Classic SW
They could duel and whoever shoots first, is Han Solo!
"The jar-jar binks award for most annoying kid"!
Do you have a big dog? if you don´t, rent one and have Chewie rides.
I like the vader-choke idea, but add some invisible string.
Gungan Breath-holding contest on a bucket!
(what a fun party...)
^No one will ever top that comment in this post, so we should just declare this thing dead and move on, huh?
paper starship contest
Party Went Awesome....
Star Wars Ships hung all ove the house (20 or so...) and my son set up a clone Vs. Droid Army Diorama for everyone to see... As you can guess - we have an over abundance of SW figures in our house...
- Pin the saber on the jedi - I painted a big jedi and let them make their own sabers and colour them.
- Star Wars Colouring Page contest
-Musical Lightsabers - Same as chairs only with lightsabers in the middle - had to pick them up...
- Rancor Tag -Thanks Ornthoron
- C3PO Race -Thanks FJNBK
- Thermal Exhust Port Run - with bean bags and a bucket - again Thanks FJNBK
- Star Wars Jedi Training - Same as in Disneyland only I did the training and the testing with a double sided lightsaber while wearing my clone helmet...
Thanks to all for the suggesations!
Ad pop, chips, pretzels, cake, icecream and four pizzas (2for1 coupons) and it was a great kids party.
All prizes and goodie bags were made up from our party box in which we acumulate stuff throughout the year. All Star Wars plates, hats, whistels and such were given to us by a friend
All put together for under $40.
You didn´t use my suggestions??????
I´m hurt, sagemind.
No NO NeuralNoise, Don't get it wrong - I though your ideas were great but my wife was there - and you know what moms are like - they just hate when you torture the kids... Party Poopers!
I even suggested the Gun Gun Waterboarding ride... She just looked at me weird - Clearly, as always, not getting what I was talking about...
