How come the back button issue isn't fixed?

Hi!

I mentioned this issue a few years ago, but I couldn't find my old Sift Talk post. Basically, a co-worker still has this problem and I can still reproduce this.

Basically on VS' home page, open up a video link IN the same window (no new tab). Let it idle there for about ten minutes or so. Now, hit the back button. It won't work because it is going back to the previous ad.

I was able to reproduce this in both Internet Explorer and Mozilla's SeaMonkey v2.0.4.

Thank you in advance.

How come is because nothing's broke; it's just how your browser done works. It basically counts a new ad loading as a standalone page load.

The fix is: use a different browser.

Like what browser? We reproduced it in both Mozilla's SeaMonkey v2.0.4 (Ad Blocker too!) and Internet Explorer.
