my first video made it out, because it's awesome.
but i have had a lot of submissions since that don't make it, and i always think "why???" especially if a gold member saves it for a second try and then it gets 27 votes.

it's a bit of a lottery, don't be disheartened if something doesn't make it.

there are ways to improve your chances but actually it's more fun if you post what you like and then see people's reactions, rather than trying to guess them. sooner or later you will post something personal that more than 10 people vote for.

or just find Jon Stewart reporting on Ron Paul's parachute failing to open and his life being saved by a cute kitten who smokes weed.

Took me three before I had a breakthrough.

I think my first one went up right away, but I've posted several that never went anywhere.

Submitting videos here is sort of like trying to meet women in a bar - sometimes you're hot, sometimes you're not.

But you should always be yourself and submit the stuff you genuinely like.

I think I had three, but it was a lot harder for me to get bronze status.
