*Drugs Channel Manifesto
I have revived the Drug channel to have a place on the sift where we can catalog all things drug use, drug culture, drug law, and the overall "psychedelic experience".
What this includes:
- Documentaries on drug use and/or history (includes alcohol)
- Drug references from pop culture (movie clips, comedians, etc.)
- Music videos related to drugs whether it be in content or visual stimulus that'd be increased by the use of drugs
- Information on pharmaceuticals (abuse or otherwise)
- Scientific research or findings on the effects of a drug
- Anti-Drug propaganda/ads
- How-to guides relating to drugs
- Anything resembling a psychedelic drug trip (visualizations, etc.)
What this doesn't include:
- People doing stupid shit that you'd like to cleverly "blame" on drugs
- Frat boys getting tanked and doing something retarded
- Just stuff that is strange that you think "oh this person must've been on DRUGS when he/she made it"...if you can't name the specific drug the person was on, you don't have the authority to call it to the drug channel.
As far as Sift Talk posts go, I'd like to provide an open forum for intelligent, informed discussion on drugs and their effects. Anything that you can provide as far as links to psychedelic artwork or news stories regarding drugs/alcohol are also welcome. If you'd like, allow drug talk to be a log for anybody on a certain drug that is willing to share their thoughts while sifting under the influence. Don't be afraid, we won't judge.
