Do You Like Stuff? Join us at Tee Virus
Way back in January of this year, Lucky and I had a conversation about making a new t-shirt for the coming VideoSift 4.0. After a lot of discussion, that idea grew into something much grander. We decided to take what we know about online communities, user submitted content and voting sites and build a "VideoSift for T-shirts". Using the same VaroCMS that powers the Sift.
Tee Virus is this and a bit more. We're building a community of designers and idea people to make original shirts that are off-beat, a little strange- and unique. We want to "incubate" - from the ranks of the creative Sifters who make this community great.
To make it worthwhile for everyone involved, we're offering 20% of the selling price to the designers of the shirts. If you have a t-shirt idea, please, please, post it to the Tee Virus Community Workshop.
Thanks very much to the beta-testing Sifters who submitted the first original designs that are now available and spreading.

I like this idea. I gotta get myself Illustrator and draw all sorts of stuff for ya'll.
Anybody want to help me with an "Ed Hardy Sux" t-shirt?
Trust me, it's a ton of fun!
Come join us and vote for your favorite designs (that, of course, mean my designs)!
Sounds a little bit like this one, which I've been using for a while:

^Yeah, except that it's US that makes the t-shirt designs!
Good luck with it. Keep in mind you are definitely against some stiff competition though with regards to online t-shirt sales, there's already a large number of well established communities, which while slightly different in their system have the same user generated orient. Just off the top of my head - threadless, tshirtsfromhell, designbyhumans, shirts.woot, teefury, teextile.
Am sorry to say but there is no way you guys can compete in this field. Good luck. You'll need it.
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
^Thanks - your words will spur us on to make you eat them!
Ohhhh SNAP!
Sorry, I'm stuck in a loop of early 90's catchphrases and jargon. It's a problem.
Maybe I should make a t-shirt about it!
I finally thought of something, but I have no idea how to use inkscape, and I'm lazy. Anyone wanna help me maintain my technological incompetence and lack of motivation?
