Am I missing something?

Ok, so recently I've had two videos go dead and both now have disappeared. They don't show up in my deadpool or on my list of sifted videos. Did I miss something with the new 4.0 version? Were are my dead videos? Why can't I fix the embeds?

Could they have had a "dupeof" called on them? I wish people would send a message to say when they were doing that. Seems like a common courtesy that might save a person searching for 20 minutes...

Could siftbot automatically send a message to someone's profile/e-mail to say, "Hey, your video is a dupe of another and your video has been killed."?

I have also had my stuff dupeof'ed and was going crazy finding it. Happened recently with a video I posted many months ago. I don't blame the person doing the dupeof, but it was buried in my killed videos because it's sorted by date posted, not when it was killed.

Ok so on further investigation it turns out the embed was replaced but now my videos don't show up on a search. If I flip through my sifted videos they are there but the no longer show up in a search. Dag, Lucky, could this be a coding error?

According to that article, I should have received notification when my video was dupeof'ed. I did not. Additionally, I went searching for the checkbox on my profile to receive status notifications, I only found an e-mail preference to get e-mails about new comments from bookmarked posts.
