yeah, we are actually moving to hosting our own avatars on VS 3.0. This will get rid of any problems associated with hosting the avatars on other sites.

again we will be implementing our own avatar system, but i should point out that imageshack and photobucket would not work. They pull images for too many views which would result in the avatars dying on a weekly / monthly basis.
