Comer busted in huge illegal marijuana deal with China, illicitly using his position as Kentucky’s agriculture commissioner to fast track the import of what he claimed was hemp but in fact was potent thc producing marijuana that failed multiple tests before disappearing instead of being destroyed.
Thousands of emails released under foia prove the intent to hide the deal, the fraud in the importation, the failed testing, the missing thousands of plants, the emails indicating the plants/their descendants are currently still in use and emailed instructions directly from Comer to the grower to never allow their testing.
Shocker! More maga crimes in collusion with our enemies (China) to subvert the laws of America and the stance of their own party (anti drug) for personal gain…because hypocrisy is the main trait of maga.

And be clear….he never met her, doesn’t know her, but he paid her $130k to keep quiet about something that never happened, and went to such great lengths to hide it that he paid her in a way that cost him over twice the payment amount and put him in jeopardy of multiple felony charges…because he’s such a great and strong businessman that cares about law and order and stands strong against all baseless accusations.….right?
PS- Trump gave a phone interview I think yesterday… he might want to stop defaming Carroll on tv. She’s already got a third case in the works, he’s just giving her ammunition for her third, this time at least a $500000000 defamation case, maybe a billion since $100 million wasn’t enough. He might also think about stopping the gag order violations at least until sentencing. He’s continuing to attack the judges daughter, staff, and the jury despite still being under the gag order specifically barring him from talking about any of them, an order he already violated 10 times. It’s possible he has forced the judge to impose prison time for contempt and consider it for the sentence. How stupid is he?

PPS- Alito’s lie about flying the pro-insurrection flag right after Jan 6 has been proven a lie because the neighbor he had a dispute with made a police record of it, and that dispute was a full month after he flew the pro-insurrection flag in January 2021. The maga Supreme Court is not just corrupt, it’s invalid.

How Not to Do Brownies

newtboy says...

Yes, and no.
Psychedelic, sure. Total ego death infinite out of body experience, nothing close.
Edibles, smoking flowers, smoking or eating concentrates, no. Trust me, I've tried. ;-)
There's a huge difference between somewhat psychedelic and his description. HUGE.
Is it possible, probably yes, but imo only if he's extraordinarily susceptible to thc (or another cannabinoid)or psychotic episodes (which I think I read can be triggered by marijuana).
It's far more likely if the story is true that he unintentionally took lsd, pcp, or some other long lasting psychedelic (I think dmt wears off too quickly to include it).

Newtboy, are you telling me you've never met anyone first hand that has had a psychedelic-type experience on edibles or just plain smoking flowers? Because although rare, it's still a thing. I've had some, very close to what this guy describes, and a friend of mine has them routinely. Are they strictly speaking hallucinations like under a psychotic episode? Not in my case, since the 'visualization' was in my mind's eye, and I wasn't literally seeing something appear in front of me, but it was psychedelic nonetheless.

Rule 6: know what drug(s) you are taking.
I'm pretty certain this was not just marijuana. As a person who has ingested over an oz of AAA quality marijuana in a single sitting, I will confidently say there was something else in those brownies to have this effect....unless he has a mental disorder. This is not a normal reaction to excess thc. I expect he unintentionally just got wet (pcp).

Jim Jefferies : Drugs: Fun, But Not Always

Mordhaus says...

I would love to be able to get medical marijuana easily in Texas. But the bill they passed in 2015 had so many restrictions it is laughable.

You can only get it if you get low-thc oil. You can only be prescribed it for epilepsy and only then if you haven't responded to federally approved treatments. Assuming you meet those guidelines, you need two different doctors that must be registered with the DPS to both agree that no other medication will help you.

Not bad enough? The state has dragged its feet on actually licensing companies to grow cannabis to make the oil, so that 2 years after the bill was signed a couple of companies are just now able to ramp up production. Then they will need time to convert the product to oil and THEN the state will take some more time to make sure the product 'meets specifications'.

This stupid thing is you can already get low-thc oil on the internet legally that is roughly the same strength. Plus it restricts the most active compound, THC, so it limits drastically who will actually gain any benefit from it.

Since I suffer from two different ailments, both which have been shown to be helped by actual cannabis instead of the oil, I am SOL. I have to take a huge dose of Cymbalta and become zombie-like for a good part of the day, or I can suffer crippling anxiety/depression/fibromyalgia pain. The other fun thing is that the Cymbalta exacerbates my IBS, the other ailment I have that cannabis has been shown to help.

I could cut out a drug with horrible side effects and take a natural drug that could help every single symptom I have, with the only side effects being paranoia and the munchies. But then the pharma company would miss out on the roughly one grand a month that my pills cost my insurance. Can't have that!

PS: That price is for generic Cymbalta now that it is available. Originally it was closer to 2k a month for name brand. Another fun side effect? Cymbalta also fucks up your sex drive, sometimes making you impotent but more frequently making it nigh impossible to orgasm. So you can get erect as a male, but good luck finishing.

I Tried Medical Marijuana For My Chronic Pain

Edgeman2112 says...

But.. it didn't help? It did help? This video was confusing as hell.

The roll-on seemed to help her but that sounded like the equivalent of a menthol rub.

The charlotte's web tincture looked like it helped, but it has 0.03% THC. She smoked the flowers which only helped with headaches/migraines, but that has a higher concentration of THC wouldn't it? The entire video makes it seem like "hey great this is what we need" but at the end she sneaks in that "this is not the solution" and follows it up with a bright happy smile. Cmon now.

So, regarding your reply:

Sorry, but STOP. People die because of this stupid fucking philosophy. People also make millions off desperate folks like this lady in the video because of that mindset. 120$ for a bottle of sugary mint chocolate chip flavored water and 0.03% THC? Isn't that just diluted to no effectiveness like homeopathic tinctures? We can't use the homeopathic approach for medicine where, "oh if it doesn't work and there are no side effects than all is fine."

No, it is dangerous to think that way because many people focus ONLY on non-medical treatments. They either continue suffering or die like my dad.

Asmo said:

I doubt there are many people in the chan that wouldn't be accepting of MJ for medicine specifically, or hell, MJ for recreational use generally. But if you have anxiety about trying it out, particularly for care of a chronic treatment, consider this...

You'll test this for a few weeks of your life, and it may have shitty side effects or just not work. However, you might be living with pain for the rest of your life. Worth a shot? You bet your fucking ass!

Severe Parkinson's Disease before and after using Cannabis

SFOGuy says...

There are CBD (cannaboid) strains with very low THC (the "high" component, mostly) that don't get someone as high---bred for medical use.

Also---very nice video.

CBD: Marijuana Without The High

JiggaJonson says...

Why do people treat euphoria like a NEGATIVE side effect?

If I hurt my back and am bed-ridden, if I have chronic headaches, if I watched all my friends die in Iraq when I was deployed; I might be depressed about any of those things, and getting a euphoric feeling might be the only thing keeping me going.

Some people might say that being dependent on a drug for happiness is a bad thing, BUT I don't see how that's different from people who take Zoloft every single day of their lives.

p.s. Finally something I can agree w/ @bobknight33 on

p.p.s. Listening to some music after a hard day's work with some THC in my system is something I miss on a very regular basis.

What happens when you're drunk AND stoned at the same time?

AnomalousDatum says...

Well, according to this video
TLDW:
Pros: Less liver damage, more THC Absorption=more ^high^
Cons: Worse memory, less able to vomit in case of over-consumption (which is not a problem if you drink moderately)

Eh, not a terrible trade-off.

Dr. Gupta thinks denying Medicinal Marijuana is Immoral

poolcleaner says...

My migraines aren't in remission but I don't suffer nearly as long as I used to since using light psychoactive CBD/THC. Duration of intense pain, loss of vision, loss of feeling in limbs, nausea, vomiting, and the rare seizure has been reduced from 6-12 hours every 2-4 weeks to maybe 2 hours every couple months, sometimes only with nausea, loss of vision, and minor or no pain.

However, the loss of vision, or what my doctors have referred to as visual "premonitions" are still a major pain that I'm not certain will ever go away. Luckily I don't get very many migraines any more. However, if I do get a migraine I still cannot drive or do anything that requires sight. Although I can technically see, it's severely impaired.

The absence or dulling of the pain during a migraine is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me medically. I had a migraine 2 days ago while I was jogging at the park, ran to my car so I could quickly get home before my vision was fucked, and then placed a soluble CBD + THC tablet (Trokie) up into the corner of my mouth where it was slowly absorbed into the facial branches of my carotid artery. After my vision cleared up, I had no headache.

Keep in mind I also take a pure CBD tablet every couple days, so it's not just the one tablet during episodes.

The Synthetic Marijuana Steampunk Rock Opera

AeroMechanical says...

My one experience with synthetic ganja, which was apparently a pretty good one some years back before it was banned, ended with me saying "jesus fucking christ, why would anybody use this stuff?" It was psychoactive, so I guess there's that, but it was pretty much just the bad THC/halluciongenic side effects without the good effects.

I'm sure it probably could be done right, but you know, there's always the real thing if you want to use drugs.

Kids should stay away from pot edibles .. and they mostly do

Sniper007 says...

"Pot edibles should be kept away from kids."

Well... it depends on what you mean by pot edibles. I plan on feeding my children all parts of the hemp plant in moderation (including the buds), though our hemp plants won't be selectively bred for high THC content.

The hemp plant isn't a drug. It can become a drug through refinement. But so can absolutely every other plant on the planet. I see no reason to single out the hemp plant.

I just realized, I'm so far removed from the drug culture that I honestly don't know what "pot edibles" means in this context. ... Seriously, is he referring to brownies or something?
