Best Ever Intro to a Movie? The Italian Job 1969
Great movie! The original, not the remake.
Reminds me of Vanishing Point....the original, not the remake.
Best Ever Intro to a Movie? The Italian Job 1969
Get those damned words off the gorgeous scenery and car.
I remembered that car with a more voluptuous rear end, but those headlights....schwing! I'm gonna have to put this on my list to watch again.
*promote a *quality movie. Reminds me of Vanishing Point....the original, not the remake.
Jeep® | “Groundhog Day” | Bill Murray | 02.02.2020
I. Really. Loved this commercial.
I've seen Groundhog Day over 100 times and really appreciated this damned remake, which reminds me how old I'm getting.

RIP Sid Haig - A Tribute
R.I.P. to a horror movie legend...
I'm not really a Rob Zombie fan, but I absolutely love Spider Baby, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, and Monster Squad! Those are solid movies in my book.
I'm surprised to see Beware! The Blob... I didn't know someone made a sequel. Looks terrible but I love the old Blob theme song and Frank Darabont's remake of the Blob is in my top ten 80s horror movie list. Hell, it may be top ten all time horror.
I need to comb through his movie list and watch some b movies soon! I've already seen a lot of those blaxploitation flicks, but I've never seen Coffy. Looks like a fun movie.
"I did not care for the Godfather." | Family Guy
The original Magnificent Seven was so much better than the remake. Better villain too.
Nooo. I remember my dad showing Godfather to my granpa from a smuggled VHS tape. Actually a betamax. Makes me biased. Maybe its slow for today but it was incredibly awesome... I do not believe its that old.
But come on, next time will someone complain about Tora, Tora, Tora or The Magnificent Seven now known as The Magnificent Seven (1960)?
Why I Turned Down The Matrix | STORYTIME
That is a phenomenal first-hand story and well told.
HOWEVER
I am totally buying what he retold what the Watchowskis were selling him. That sounded awesome. He clearly wasn't the right audience for that kind of talk.
I also like that he says he did us all a favor. Thank you, Will.
Maybe he'll star in the remake the studio is working on (without the Wachowskis). I know no details about that one and can only assume it's going to pale in comparison to the original.
Disney's Mulan - Official Teaser
I don't know who Halle Bailey is, but I'll be happy if she can sing. I get the disappointment if people feel this was supposed to be Disney's ginger princess and would be unhappy if any non-redhead was cast.
The most heartbreaking remake for me was Beauty and the Beast. I love the original and I've seen it many dozens of times in the last 20 years, and it wrecked me when I watched it full of Emma Watson's badly auto-tuned robotic singing... hurts me now even just describing it.
Disney's Mulan - Official Teaser
Of Disney's obsession with live action remakes... this is the one I'm probably most interested in. It's the one that makes the most sense to remake.
Until all the racist ass holes came out of the ground, and ranted how Ariel shouldn't be a black girl, I'd have put Little Mermaid near the bottom, but now just because it's pissing off the racist segment, that one I might have to do too.

Toy Story 3 IRL Trailer 2
I mean... that takes a lot of dedication, and they've clearly done a really good job. That said, I don't get it. A scene or two as a student project, sure. Remaking the whole movie though seems like a really odd way to spend a massive chunk of your life.
The lack of new voice actors seems like it could be a legal problem too, but perhaps they've already cleared it with the big D.
Sonseed - Satan is a friend of mine
*doublepromote a *quality song....The remake that is
Lion King - Live Action Teaser
Yeah, this.
I guess it’s a bit harsh to judge this from just a teaser but....
This looks like a shot for shot remake. Financially? Genius move.
Artistic? Yawn. If you’re gonna redo the Lion King, do something interesting with it; like remove all the dialogue or something. I mean, I get why they don’t do that, but this holds almost no interest for me and it’s only “almost” because I’m curious to see John Oliver in it.
We do what we can, because we must.
...make more money.
The Upside | Official Trailer [HD]
A remake of the original French movie, which was good.

Baby Driver Opening Scene and Chase
Someone should remake this with a modern car. You know, silent since it's electric. Boring, since it's automatic. Can't lose the cops since they can just log in and track it... Car chases and cars in general are going to be so boring in the not-too-distant future.
BBC Bodyguard: the shooting
The Broadchurch US remake is called Gracepoint.

Wife and I loved Broadchurch.
There... there was... a US Broadchurch? That is wrong.
