Former Trump Voter: Why He Won't Vote For Trump Again

BSR says...

I never paid Trump much attention before he became a presidential candidate simply because of his ego. Not really interested in people that choose to die in their own arms. It wasn't until he occupied the White House that I learned what he really is.

I think it's easy to see that sometimes people don't vote for the candidate as much as they do for the party regardless.

I do know Trump inspired me to register to vote against him.

I was looking forward to contacting you upon finishing my foray.

imagine my happy surprise at your rather wonderful and welcome intercedence on behalf of all things light and transcendental in nature.

Thank you old friend.

I applaud and thank you further for the enlightened and inspired suggestion to resolution of the situation though I infer there to be a lag in implementation at best.

As I was unaware of the possible agitation my efforts evidently caused, I somewhat bristled at the unjustified, that is to my mind, action taken at no infraction of which I am aware.

Is instahobbling not regarded as inappropriate thusly invoked?

In any case, my reaction to such was averted by your intervention and I, again, thank you.

I put in a question to lucky about making invocation only posts hidden....it seems some are upset that the comments page is full of non comments. Not me, but if I can diffuse a fight before it starts, I will.

Enhancing photorealism in video games

Khufu says...

while this is cool, it's really just forcing a specifically art-directed look of the game(texture detail, color grading) into a dashcam-quality, drab color-scheme version. The game was obviously going for a more film-inspired color grading meant to give you the impression of a hot summer day in LA, not a cold German day seen through a raw ccd limited dashcam. cool that it's this fast though!

just saw the bit at the end with the broader dataset used.. that's more like it, keeps the vibrant color but does improve realism of things like road look.

Congressman Matt Gaetz Snubbed by Trump Amid Growing Scandal

In my 65 years I've only voted twice. Freshman year in HS I registered republican mainly because that's what my parents were.

The second time I voted as a democrat. I was inspired by Trump. He is a very inspiring man.

Impeachment Managers Make Case Against Trump to Open Trial

luxintenebris jokingly says...

Wish we could say that was just a divine presentiment, but it was like every uncommon thing committed so commonly by the former President during his tenure of office. Foreseeable. Predictable. Inevitable.

People got hurt. A person got shot. People got killed.

Someone said it was going to happen. The President urged for it to happen. It happens.

What...can be...more obvious?

[this isn't the only source available on the 'net that made this kind of 'prediction'. found one that talked about his impeachment, removal, and inspired violence well before any of this was on the horizon.]

the only real question is will the Republicans do their sworn duty? be honorable. just be honest.

believe some will. the ones with principles, honor, and courage.

may the rest find other work. soon.

Clearly you cannot read. The article is clear. The objective of the bipartisan group was not to win votes for either side, only to ensure a free and fair election in the face of the Trump administration's efforts to interfere and illegally sway results through lies, lawsuits, disinformation, voter suppression, and simple denial of reality and fact.

"There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse, little-noticed joint statement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and AFL-CIO published on Election Day. Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain–inspired by the summer’s massive, sometimes destructive racial-justice protests–in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace and oppose Trump’s assault on democracy.

The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted. "

You are both dumb to try this lie, and a bold faced liar. You actually pointed us to your source that clearly says the exact opposite of what you claim. I'm pretty certain you didn't read it, because it's clear, and it calls you a liar too.

bobknight33 said:

The left subverted the election and admitted it in the article.

They colluded with the media, big tech, local and state governments with the sole purpose to sway voters and block opposition on a national scale.

I can read but can you take you blinders off?

It is thought provoking and actually inspired me to look into some of the legitimate points and accurate perceptions, revisit Marx and chuckle at some of the later wild jumps and extrapolations.

Gamers would rule the world if they ever could be bothered to get up off the couch.

Also I was totally mesmerised by the story combined with the images, while it does get repetitive, would be an excellent 45 minute video if the crap could be cut out.

Perspectives on Rittenhouse seem to track perspectives on where one imagines one would be found in that situation.

Do you imagine being a looter or rioter?
Rittenhouse is bad.

Do you imagine being a resident of the street in question?
Rittenhouse is good.

The protest angle is moot, since Rittenhouse didn't go there to interact with protesters.

I personally wouldn't go attack property that doesn't belong to any of the people that ostensibly inspired the protest (the police officers responsible for the shooting). So I am more likely to imagine myself being a simple resident.

If it were the homes of the police officers being looted, then at least the looting would have some logical reason behind it.
I'm actually surprised, that after all these protests, and all the looting, and all the destruction, that nobody has bothered to actually target the people that are responsible. Brings into question sincerity.

Side note, I actually think that police were way in the wrong to shoot, or even bother, Jacob Blake. The man only stopped to break up a fight. Cops (responding to a call, ostensibly about that very fight) just showed up and went after him, without taking any time to assess what was going on. Absolutely reckless cowboy behavior with little regard for the state.

I have to confess. Trump inspired me. Last time I voted in a presidential election was 1976 for Jimmy Carter. This year I registered to vote again for anyone other than Trump. So, there's that.

🦜 bob's bunk would inspire this conversation during his arrest...

bk: "what are you doing"
'better' person (bp)*: "arresting you!"
bk: "why - what for?"
bp: "for being a bad person!"
bk: "no i'm not!"
bp: "are you disagreeing w/me?"
bk: "yes! yes! i am!"
bp: "then you're a fool too!"

*strange that 'bp' could stand for bad person also?

could throw in matthew's 'judge lest thee be judged' routine but the plank in the eye gag doesn't bring in the ha-ha like it use to.

Banksys Pandemic Inspired Graffiti | London Underground

"Gettting up" means to paint your name places and get recognition. He "gets locked down but gets up again" means he was in quarantine but now he's back. That's why the work features an old school dirty drip tag. It's classic old school graffiti on a subway. - Reditor

I'm curious to see what happens to his work. Could be a nice little windfall for the London underground.

Here is the original London Underground video he seems to get inspiration from
