Awesome pool table made of glass

This has to be one of the coolest pool tables I have ever seen. It's made from glass and metal but apparently it rolls like a cloth surface.

i imagine the film on top in not unlike the film that is used to protect screens on mobile phones, except they just came up with surface condition (coefficient of friction among other others) that mimics felt. I am also curious about the english though.

they basically just have to come up with a way to make the difference of the static and kinetic coefficient of frictions very large.

The key question is: can a stripper dance on it?

I don't know, but I bet it's hell to clean up after nailing a drunken coed on it.

Really? I would have thought it would be easier....

And could someone explain to me what about the manufacturing process could possibly raise the cost to $40,000?

I have absolutely no idea why it costs $40,000. That's absurd.
I also find the tables support beams extremely distracting.
I appreciate the concept and that some people may love this table, but I'll pass. Perhaps I'm not a fan of some "modern" designs but I'd still pass if this thing was $4000.

I was thinking the smudges, kinda like trying to get an iPhone screen clean.

It's that expensive for the same reason this designer cat perch is $200. Because there are people dumb enough to pay that much for it.
