I didn't really get the punchline, but the rest of it had me LMFAHS in stitches. (I loved the realistic abdomen skin as it was cut open. :-p)

I don't... yet.

I've made about a dozen shorts over the years, though this is definitely my most technically ambitious. I think I'm about ready to graduate to features, but of course, easier said than done.

As for the punchline, it's pretty much what it seems like -- they act like a loving couple to the outside world, but in reality they hate each other. Even when he's saying something nice to her, all she can think about is murdering him.

If I could change one major thing I'd probably make the ending a bit bigger, as it does feel a bit low-key compared to the rest of the film, and a bit anti-climactic. Oh well.
