deedub81Little bit cranky, eh?
jmzerosays...I hate Santorum, but I think he's in the right here. As a politician, he should probably be able to brush this stuff off better - but that kind of stupid question would frustrate me as well.
The media should be embarrassed by how they've covered this campaign.
That said, Santorum (and the rest of the GOP field) have encouraged this mindset, and have been all-too-happy to jump on speaking mistakes (or tidbits that sound bad out of context) themselves rather than focus on any kind of substantive policy differences.
wolfiendssays...Most telling to me is his inability to reasonably react to a simple question. He seems embarrassed after he curses, by the way he continues to badger the reporter. Just another amateur running for office. At least we won't have to worry about anti-curse laws on his agenda!
& for those who enjoy a little context, here is the quotation from Santorum's speech that the New York Times reporter and others "spun":
SANTORUM: Fifty-dollar abortions subsidized by RomneyCare. And if you’re low income, they’re free.
Why would we put someone up who is uniquely -- pick any other Republican in the country. He is the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama. Why would Wisconsin want to vote for someone like that?

wolfiendssays...& Wisconsin would not vote for someone like that...or someone like Mr. Santorum!
notarobotI do not support Santorum, however, I do support accurate citations by news and media.
PhreezdrydThe reporter sounds awkward, and his question is kinda broad and dumb. Santorum is just giving attitude to the lame-stream media, like a lot of Republicans are these days. He could've calmly corrected the reporter, like Romney would've, or been snide and unpleasant like Gingrich. All three are creepy and off putting in their own way.
Maybe reporters are asking dumb obvious questions over and over to get a reaction like this for the cameras?
lantern53says...I hate Santorum, but I really despise that clueless re-distributor and debt-monger Obama.
God send us someone who knows what the hell they're doing.
CaptainPlanetsays...^ i like obama...
just wanted to add something positive to this shitsmear of a thread
chingaleraJeez, give the poor guy another rail! Powder room deficit...HELLO!?
therealblankmanThe scumbag religious nutbar does have a point.
In related news, today Santorum says he would happily be Romney's VP. How does Vice President Frothy sound?

But then they act passively and brush this off, the reporters get worse and worse... I think he should be able to voice his opinion with either humor or this type of reaction.
longdeI hate Santorum, but this blatant display of hypocrisy (using foul language) makes me hate him more.

God sent you someone. He doesn't know what the hell he's doing and curses at reporters when he gets frustrated.
quantumushroomThe non-FOX media work for Obama and the democrats instead of the people. Why the GOP doesn't understand this after 60 years beats me.
NetRunnerBecause the media actually works for your side, and pretty much has for at least 20 years now.
Right-wingers bitching about the media sounds like the entitled whining of spoiled cry-babies to liberals, because apparently you don't understand this.
This sort of substance-free "reporting" is pretty much the worst they ever do to Republicans, and all it really does is cause you guys to rally around them all the more.
I couldn't care less whether Santorum thinks Romney is the "worst Republican" or the "worst Republican to combat Obama on healthcare", they're both bad people who will do their level best to rape, pillage, and burn as much of America as they can get away with.
A Democratic/liberal press would focus on that, not these silly little catfights between wannabe tyrants.

SketchFirst thing Santorum's said that I respect!
