Republicans Are The Party Of Birthers, Baggers And Blowhards

This guest on Faux Newz tells it like it is. Seeing how they only like to have guests on that subscribe to their slanted opinions, I'm sure he won't be asked back on their shows any time soon.

But as long as it works they'll keep doing it. Some people will always vote Republican, and some districts will most likely always vote R, so why bother to do anything when you can give a big middle finger to the other guys, not do a damn thing, and still get elected? Of course this applies to the Dems too.

Draxsays...

haha.. I like this comment quote from YT: "Like I always say, Fox News is like a strip club: miserable, pessimistic, ugly middle aged men, and a bunch of blondes who will do anything you tell them as long as you pay them enough."

The Democrats have the numbers to jam anything they want through the house / Senate and White house.

Funny they have not done jack squat for a year. Of course the Republicans have done nothing since they don't hold any ranking offices and are out numbered. Bob Beckel is a Du@#! bag for blaming the republicans for the lackluster performance of the Democrat party.

choggiesays...

Y'know, as most of ya know, choggie don't watch much television. In fact, the only television he have to suffer is pretty much contained here on this site, in the form of unconscionable spam. It looks to the curve-riders of the herd, that these linear rants and editorials by folks fancying themselves "informed" above here and perhaps below unless this thread loses momentum(which it should), are nothing but other people telling me what to think according to the brand of this side or the other side, are distracting forays designed to keep you all in your comfortable places thinking before you allll go to bed each night, that you have a clue about the way the world is run, and about what is really going on to make your lives better, worse, or simply tolerable, in the clusterfuck we call, American Politics.

Obama?? He's not your friend unless he takes radical measures to insure that the next few generations don't end up like more of the same, an American version of Kim Jong Il's victims in that wonderful place of humans being kept in the dark with mind control and obedient submission.

Hope he drops a double-nut sundae before he hands the place over to the assholes to do with as they will, according to the laws they pass to eventually make this place a new version of many, many former regimes and systems of control....!FUCK THE NEWS< >KILL YOUR TELEVISIONS!

The GOP deserves a lot of criticism, but not for what this guy is whining about. The GOP needs to step up and start standing for fiscal conservatism. Conservatives want limited government, reduced spending, and balanced budgets. Sadly - that generally ISN'T what the GOP wants. The GOP wants huge government, tons of spending, and big debts. They just want to be the ones in charge of it.

Birthers? A tiny fringe group who align themselves with the GOP on a single issue, or pre-existing GOP members who are content with this particular issue as a vehicle for their opposition.

Baggers? The Tea Partiers represent huge numbers of fiscal conservatives and independants who are alarmed at government debt spending & over-spending. Democrats and liberals grossly misunderstand the Tea Party movement, and they do so at their own peril. The left is ignoring a massive swelling of citizen anger in the same way that the right ignored Iraq war protests. The contempt and disdain the libs show to this movement only serves to alienate them, and this issue alone will hand the House or Senate to the GOP in 2010 unless the Democrat party wises up quickly.

Blowhards? That's just what they call anyone who opposes them. Pot - meet kettle.

I have no love for the GOP - but I hope they win the house or senate in 2010 so as to put the brakes on Obama's agenda. My fond hope is for complete and utter government gridlock. Democrats gridlocked Reagan & Bush 1 and the country was served well. Republicans gridlocked Clinton and the country was served well. Bush2 had a Republican Congress and American got rogered. Obama has a Democrat Congress and he's screwing the pooch. We need that check and balance badly. I think it should be a national law that the House of Representatives should be handed to the control of whatever party opposes the President automatically on election day.

I still think the "truck nutz" should become the official symbol of the Tea Bag party. So, if you have those on your pickup truck people will know your a bagger, for sure.

And Socialist Nazis. They're pretty pissed about those too.

My neighbor is a tea party protester. If you want to hear something funny then just ask a tea partier to define "government takeover of healthcare".

And Socialist Nazis

Every large movement has more than its share of fringe elements who try to maximize their own kookery by attaching themselves to a more legitimate movement. For example, the anti-war movement in the Bush administration was jam packed with kooks. The Code Pinkers, the Cindy-Sheehans, and on and on. However, simply because there was a bunch of kooks sucking like leeches on the anti-war movement does not mean that the movement itself was misguided or composed ONLY of lunatics.

Republicans tried to marginalized the anti-war movement by falsely attempting to paint the anti-war 'kooks' as the bulk of the movement. It didn't wash because the bulk of the movement WASN'T anti-war freak-niks. The bulk of the movement in that case was AMERICA who didn't like the war or (at least) how it was being run. Exact same thing as the Tea Party movement. Sure there are a few radicals. But by and large the vast bulk of this large movement is composed of normal, everyday Americans who are angry and displeased with lack of government fiscal responsibility.

Ignore it at your peril, Democrat party. You can pretend the Tea Party isn't 'legitimate' all you want. You can send flacks like MadCow and Doberman to try and falsely portray them as kooks by focusing on the fringes and ignoring the majority. But what group is truly the delusional one in that event?

MaxWildersays...

Ugh. More petty insults. You can just tell that Beckel came up with that line weeks ago and was dying for a chance to use it. How immature.

And she had a point. We've supposedly put billions into the infrastructure already. Is the solution to throw more money into the system? That money, and any more like it is probably 90% for pork. Why don't the pundits do something useful and start identifying wasteful spending?

Xaielaosays...

As more and more older white folks start to die and the minorities such as the latinos start to surpass white people as the majority of this country, the less republican voters there will be. Were not talking down the road a ways, were talking in the next 5 or 10 years.

If I were republican that would scare the shit out of me. They already have no real answers and the last time they were in power we had the second greatest economic downturn in our countries history. They have nothing to stand on but the same old crap that doesn't work. They should be really scared of the future.

Winstonfield_Pennypackersays...

They should be really scared of the future.

It should scare you too, because a huge population of illegal voters and voters on the dole are only going to vote for more and more reckless domestic spending when the American economy is already on the brink. Great democracies collapse when the public votes itself too many goodies at the public trough. We're already at an unsustainable level of domestic spending. It's time to cut public spending drastically, not expand it.

rougysays...

Our domestic spending has nothing to do with our current plight.

Yet another lie from the conservative "right."

It's the war machine that's killing us, but the war machine is the conservative's baby.

Will these loyal taxocrat "Latinos" be recreating the poverty and corruption of Mexico here? For a sneak preview of the answer, see: bankrupt mexifornia.
