Was that a demonstration on why portal sucks on console or is it just me?

Cant wait for Portal 2. I hope these puzzles aren't actually in the co-op, or at least that there is only the first one. Because if you can grasp the basics that fast, then you probably wouldn't be able to get past the second puzzle anyway.

Agreed with above...
Console tards...sigh...

What's with all the hate?

What's with not wanting me to dislike things? Is the "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" rule really a good rule? What about the guys at Bear Stearns who got fired for saying the housing market won't go up forever? It's like, my opinion, man, that it's totally the same thing. Stop trying to make me "irrationally positive or shut up" or something.

Also, if you've ever played portal on PC (I don't even know if #1 is available on console), some of the puzzles require pretty amazing timing, and I'm pretty sure they'd be near impossible with the analog stick aiming. So, if portal 2's puzzles get dumbed down on PC to comply with console input device limitations, I will be quite disappointed.

Not to mention challenge levels and speed runs...hopefully the console and PC versions simply have different level designs.

I'd like to see this on console:

Portal 1 was indeed on console, but like Team Fortress 2, wasn't even remotely as popular because of the console's control limitations. If they do design puzzles to make things easier for consoles I am sure they will compensate for that in the PC release.

This was kinda obviously the very first two rooms of co-op. If you judged Portal 1 by the first two rooms alone, it would have looked like it was designed for people with brain injuries.

For those who forgot, the solution to Rooms #1 and #2 on Portal are:

Room 1: Walk through portal, put box on button
Room 2: Wait for portal to open in room with box, get box, go back, wait for portal to open to button, put box on button.

You can't even open two portals until Room 11 in the original. Here you start with each person having two, and you need to cooperate to execute a fling.
