I can almost garentee that this game is totaly mind nombing to play ,

multiplayer should be alright , but the single player will be a constant insult to the players inteligence throughout,

I take it the player has no control over the helicopter's piloting.

I don't see why they couldn't let you pilot the Helo, although I tend to agree with you that you wont be able to. More than 5 years ago I used to play BF2... You could pilot Jets as well as Attack & Transport Helicopters. It actually took a decent amount of skill to be a good pilot/gunner.

Cuts down on the development time, for one. You have to really open up the map if the player can pilot. It's also easier to design a shooting gallery then a free roaming battle zone.

I think EA wants this game out ASAP to catch the MW2 wave. They only announced it like what, a year back?

It looks to me like they wanted you to play as the gunner. MW2 does this in their AC-130 gunship levels. Why is this viewed differently? At least it isn't in crappy black and white cam mode.

I think a few of those guys with "RPGs" were actually AP reporters carrying video cameras.

Funny how back in the day to get around technological limitations developers would make rail shooters. And now with all this wonderful 3D technology we're back to.... more rail shooters. Yay.

Something about flying the helicopters that close to the ground makes the game really unattractive to me...

This looks extremely dumbed down. Well, actually it looks like a generic console game.
Nice graphics (at least the terrain), but the gameplay looks as if some IQ -60 hillbilly created it and its as close to reality as Earth is to the edge of the universe.

Sad that all modern warfare games seem to be about torching stone age villages. I miss the good feeling of destroying Nazis.

Yeah I have I agree on the stone age village thing... As much as we joke around, this game series has always left a bad taste in my mouth (I've played the first two installments). While they are certainly fun and technically impressive, I find the writing tried to normalize the kind of mentality our military has in a way that is really really curious.

I flew these same choppers on the Commodore 64 in a simulation called Gunship. Control over flying and shooting... I guess the xbox360 just can't handle it.

I hear there is a mission where people who dont like this game are strapped on the tarmac and you get to land the helicopter on them repeatedly.

And that is an amazing game.

This however, makes me even less interested in MoH

I only play multiplayer. If this doesn't have multiplayer online I wont buy it. If it does, it looks killer, period.
