Homeless man with 'golden radio voice' gets his chance

From the NYPost: As soon as Ted Williams, a panhandler who became an online hit after video of him begging on an Ohio roadside was posted to the Internet, appeared on a local radio show this morning the offers began pouring in -- including a dream job with the Cleveland Cavaliers and a free house.

this whole story made me love the internet even more.
In 2 days this guy went from living on the streets to getting a second chance at life.

I salute you internetians. I salute you!

Great story. I hope he doesn't have to put up with much more of these condescending questions and "dance for me, monkey!" interviews.

I worried about the same thing, that he would essentially be shopped around to do "monkey tricks." While Ted's story is amazing, I really wish that people were talking about Doral Chenoweth and how it was him who helped out Ted.
