A web commercial to raise awareness of gay marriage. It's designed to be in your face and offensive and wants you to fuck hate.

I liked the time (just 10 years ago) when college professors would say that people who use vulgarity are poor communicators. Now you're not taken seriously if you don't use the F-bomb.

Sorry, but seeing kids using vulgarity so liberally is terrible.

Way to go liberals for messing up this world.

This has to be the dumbest comment i've read in awhile.

I happen to agree that the language detracts from the message... but i also happen to think the message is 100% spot on... Way to just gloss over that fact by the way.

I think it's pretty comical how the language in one video, obviously intended to be over the top and shocking can really rattle you so much and go so far as to suggest it's the cause for the fall of our society... Not the conservative backed wars on social classes... races... religions... sexuality... or oh yeah actually shooting wars... no no... those are all good.... it's kids using foul language in a web-commercial thats really going to shatter our society.

Great message, too much swearing. I get that it's their shtick, but people have got to understand that vulgarity is a "spice". It conveys an emphasis. If, in a paper, you underline everything, it loses the ability to emphasize something specific. So save it for the key points.

So yeah, in regards to the Christian Right... fuck the fucking fuckers.

I support gay marriage. I do not support this delivery of the message. ("fuck hate"?!?!)

Surely we, being all of mankind, have more intelligent ways to express ourselves.

The funny part is that those that hate something tend to have a correlation (this means not may, not will) in actually doing the same thing, but hiding it due to shame (or some other psychological barrier and under such terms as: Frenemy, love-hate, ambivalence, cognitive dissonance, etc... ).

In an environment like the Internet this message can be more powerful that it ever would be elsewhere. Anonymity allows users to break out of their ethos, the people that see swearing as "not a big deal" i.e.: they use it when in company of a select group -- they are the target for this video. The videos swearing and comedy are hooks. Hence the tag: viral.

The swearing is fine and I don't develop worry from words easily unless they are things like: patriot (act), religion(s), God(s), ghosts, all supernatural, tea party, insurgents, Limbaugh, Bill'O, Fox, Glenn B, etc...

/News Corp. employs the very same tactics in case you've missed it.
