Astronomy is cool: The Birth Cry of a Supernova!
Phil Plait has written an article about a recently discovered supernova, this is one of the coolest science articles I've read recently, I highly recommend checking it out

I can also easily recommend a Bad Astronomy daily intake, its one of the best blogs out there, IMO

Thanks for that. It’s been a while since I’ve visited the Bad Astronomy site. I particularly like his Misconceptions page (example: you can stand an egg anytime, not just during the spring Equinox), and the bad astronomy shown in movies and TV.
Excellent article. Thanks BRM
Bad Astronomy has been on my (growing) list of daily sites for a while now. I've also noticed I've seen your (BicycleRepairMan) name on a few of the regular sites/forums I visit, I don't know if it's you though.

Its probably me, I almost never meet "myself" on the web
The Bad Astronomer is really a great blog. I'm looking forward to seeing Phil Plait in the new show The Skeptologists. Does anyone know if this show is really coming to tv?
