Browser stat mania
Here are the browser stats from Analytics for the month of May. Nice to see that Firefox has taken over from Internet Explorer - at least here on VideoSift.
And Ant, way to represent with Seamonkey, coming in at #10.

These stats are skewed! Due to forces outside of my control, I was resigned to sift using Firefox for a couple of weeks in May. But now I am thankfully back in the sweet embrace of Opera.
Sweet, sweet Opera...
That many people are still using IE on this site? Wake up and smell the Firefox.
Seriously though I guess IE has improved a lot since I switched over, but I still don't use it for anything but those rare sites that don't play nice with firefox. That and I feel naked without my noscript addon.
I guess the iPhone gets lumped in with Safari? I have real trouble logging in on mine, as it doesn't allow me to set the focus to the username box on the overlay. Is there a buglist for such Sift related stuff?
I'd love to hear more about Opera and Chrome from those who use them.
Firefox is too slow...there. I said it. I am using a netbook (Samsung NC10) and Google Chrome is really nice and fast
much much faster than firefox Glad to see Chrome has made a decent introduction to the Intawebs pie
Firefox is my 2nd choice though - as IE sucks hairy gorilla balls. *click*
hahaha ant you are a sea monkey!!!
Unfortunately no Chrome for Mac-ers at present.
I'm an Opera guy all the way.
The tabbed browsing has more features, and I can customize my toolbars much better than with IE or FF.
The skins are better.
The bookmarks feature is much better than either IE or FF.
It's not perfect. There are some sites that Opera just can't seem to handle, but I've been using it since the days when you had to pay for it.
BTW whenever I browse from my PS3 it always gets fucked up. The videos and whatever else appears in the right column covers everything up. Anyone have a fix for this?
I browse using homing pigeons.

already told lucky about that problem and he said it´s not easy to fix without getting into serious voodoo hacking but he told me a workaround:
Just use: http://videosift.com/login for logging in
In that case, an easy fix would be to check the User Agent when the page is built. If it's an iPhone, it could replace the "login" pop-up box with a link to /login instead.
