I did a demo for this years Breakpoint with a friend at work, he did all the code and  and came up with the concept, myself and others did artwork and music for it

We came in 3rd Place! Woohoo!   Really happy about this as GRX had worked his socks off for this, and this was his first demo

Overall we did this from scratch in 6 weeks (including GRX building up his code framework)

We had to cut and improvise alot due to the limited time, so maybe we will get a chance to 'reduc' the demo now the Breakpoint deadline is over

The contraints for this catagory was 64MB

Please note the demo requirements

Windows Vista (or Windows 7)
DirectX 10 Video Card (Faster The Better)
Not sure how much memory is needed only ran it so far on systems with 6GB and 8GB

I will have to try and make a video

^ Won't run on XP as it uses DirectX 10 - One of the things GRX wanted to do was wave simulation and it was not possible under Shader Model 3 - And since DX10 is Vista and up only...

I will see what we can do for getting a video up - Although I do know we will do more on it, as a lot of stuff was cut to make the Demoparty in time...

So far my only machine that runs the 7 RC has only a board-integrated gfx card, but I'm definitely checking it out as soon as I get around to putting 7 on my home PC Grats btw.

Cool...That made me dizzay!

Totally add some more dynamic lighting/texturing and post again!

If anyone wants to play around with stuff sort of like this, but you dont know how to code, etc.... download a program called Alice.. its free from carnegie melon and can animate things while showing you a little about object oriented programming. Your imagination is pretty much the limit.

"Free scripting and prototyping environment program for 3D object behavior. Runs on Windows 95/98/NT."

Your demo ran ok after locking up for a quick second on starting up the exe as you stole all my databases j/k.

Here's my baby's specs fyi:
