K0MMIEsays...Well if you're just gonna use old tech stuff on it, try shooting it with a catapult.
vairetubesays...Good selling point! HEY! RUSSIANS! IT WILL SURVIVE THE UPCOMING WAR! GET IT NOW OR STEAL IT FROM DEAD NEIGHBORS! UPVOTE for CLASSICAL GAS!!!
Crazy-drummersays...Special monitor for angry gamers! now you can throw your mouse and keyboard at the screen when you get fraged without risking damage (to the screen that is...)! someone get this for the angry unreal tournament german kid!
sometimessays...In case of terrorist (or Putin) attack, use monitor as shield.
lertadsays...This is so coming to stores in a Wii bundle package.
maatcsays...*commercial
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Commercial) - requested by maatc.
bamdrewsays...woah, i'm watching this on an Asus laptop, and just now realizing my screen does have a very nice protective layer over it... sweet.
blankfistsays...What do they expect you to be doing with your computer? Data Processing in Iraq? *useless
Pring4says...upvote for "classical gas" being played by a violin
supersaiyan93says...Niiiiccceee.
/obligatory.
QuadraPixelsays...I need that protective layer in front of 37 inch Westinghouse monitor. If mine even fell over (which it almost did once) i would be out $1200!
xxovercastxxsays...This is a trick, I say. That monitor is still under warranty. All Asus products that I've owned or dealt with (2 video cards and several dozen laptops) were great until their warranty expired. After that they're not unlike nitrogen triiodide.
Needless to say I won't even consider an Asus product anymore.
yaroslavvbsays...Notice that he has no difficulty pulling the string taut with his fingers, so the tension must be quite low
StukaFoxsays...If we'd built the World Trade Centers outta that stuff, they'd still be there today!
CaBhaalsays...I've always used Asus motherboards, great products, no issues. I had no idea they made monitors too.
jwraysays...The arrow that hit the monitor has a different color tip than the arrows that hit the wood in that video.
mysdrialsays...Technically, the monitor was not held in place, and you can see it move to absorb the shock rather than just deflect the bolt. It's still somewhat impressive, but it's not like the pieces of wood that appeared to be bolted down....
messengersays...FWIW, that's not a serious crossbow. The real things need to be drawn with a crank or other mechanical device. Their acquisition is licenced as firearms in Canada. This one's a kid's toy.
sirexsays...its not just that, the monitor has a very smooth surface, if the projectile hit at a slight angle (which it did, helped also by the monitor moving) it'll just slide right off and not really put a test on the monitor.
phelixiansays...9H Hardness Surface for Protection. Cool stuff.
messengersays...Is that the new 3M stuff I heard about that peels off?
