Hilarious, had to watch it twice through to catch everything but it pretty much sums up my thoughts in what I've played of it in the first 5 or so hours.

I'm not so skeptical about the respawn chambers though. In the end there isn't a huge difference in whether you have to manually reload or the game essentially reloads for you by automatically booting you back a reasonable distance, around how often the average person would quicksave, which probably more or less explains why there's so many of them.

The only real change in game dynamics here is you can keep coming back and slowly whittling down your opponents but in the end whether you want to do that or play the traditional way is up to you because it packs a fully functioning save game system anyway.

I watched this on the Escapist site and he's bang on with the review, as well as the observation that it remains a cracking game. A game is a game and like movies, dramatic allowances will always be made. Pity my 360 broke when I was in the middle of the game. I will probably get my Halo 3 order before the thing is returned to me.
