kulpimssays...wow. just wow. *i want to talk to that zebra about self-defence classes...
nibiyabisays...Can't upvote unless I'm the only one getting that incredibly annoying clipping throughout the video. . . . Too tired to clear cache -- I'll check it in the morning and see what's up.
rychansays...Would upvote but the encoding is terrible, full of hangs and audio problems.

In that case I want my upvote back!
rottenseedsays...global warming causes both the clipping problem and the strange phenomenon of a zebra drowning a lion.
MrFisksays...That lioness is sure gonna get made fun of next day at school.

You're wrong. Iran is behind all of this. And Mandela is dead.

Trancecoachsays...incredible.
12244says...That is so intense. I feel bad for both the lion and the zebra.
djsunkidsays...Hah! Here you go- waterboarding in the wild!
Xaxsays..."The lion, on the other hand, has been dealt a more serious blow." How do you figure, Mr. Narrator?
legacy0100says...Coincidental. Zebra couldn't have thought to drown the lioness

Why, 'cause he doesn't have "free will"? Please get over this anthropocentric nonsensical mindset.

No you idiot. Because it's too dumb to strategize something as complicated as 'okay, I'm gonna calm down, relax, and maneuver my head lower to the surface of the water so that this young feline lass would be dunked under water, and this will create a badly needed chance, as quick as it may be, for the lioness to panic and give myself an opportunity to free my head from her grasp'
If they had such abilities to cognitively predict and control their surrounding environment, they would've just made a big water reservoir instead of going to the nearest river to get water, only to get ambushed by lions, like a common animal.
MaxWildersays...I have to agree. I think it was chance that the water happened to be the right depth at that point, for the standing zebra to be able to dunk the lion as it got harder for the zebra to keep his head up.
thepinkysays...I agree with Legacy, too. That Zebra just got lucky.
Aniatariosays...Damn nature! You scary!
dgandhisays...Zebras be vicious beasts. IIRC they are the #1 cause of fatalities among zoo keepers. It looks like a horse, but it's a psychotic killing machine.

And the really weird thing is all these zoo-keepers were found to have drowned....

Typical human. ^ Humans are animals too.
blahpooksays...How hard is it to believe that this odd-toed ungulate had a sudden consciousness of the value of its own life and decided to defend it? I don't know about you but those onlooking zebras looked like they just experienced an awakening.
nibiyabisays...We sure like to attribute human characteristics to animals, but any animal behaviorist expert will tell you that zebras are not capable of thoughts as complex as this. It was simply pushing and struggling with the lion, and they happened to be in water.
10874says...LOL THAT BITCH GOT WATERBOARDED
10874says...<please delete this post>
MarineGunrocksays...The cow says: "Mooooo!"
The horse says: "Neiiigghhh"
The lion says: "Om nom nom!"
The zebra says: "Not today, motherfucker!"
roosh4says...I don't know if the zebra planned the drowning or not, but i know that no one ON EARTH is qualified to know for certain what it was thinking.
iwastheturkeysays...I'd say it's pretty safe bet to say the zebra was thinking "holy shit there's a lion attached to me."
cause I think I'd have been thinking that too.
iwastheturkeysays...p.s. is mine a dupe?
