The Competitors had 45 min. to make a pair of Hot Fitting tongs out
of 3/4 round stock with the reins already ran out.

Did anyone think to tell these guys the obvious, that it's not possible to do what they did in 45 minutes? Would have saved them a lot of work, and me a lot of shame at my wasted life.

Isn't Blacksmithing just one of those archaic tough-guy jobs that screams masculinity? Honestly, I'd put it up there with Crab-fisherman, coal-miner, marine..
