McCain cost himself the election by electing someone for the sole purpose of trying to energize his campaign. He carelessly put America in harm's way for purely selfish reasons, and he was rejected.

What Palin deserves now is the secretary of state position --Obama desperately needs the nation's foremost expert on foreign policy, energy policy, and maverickism.

I don't know a single person who thought she was a good choice but I knew a lot of people who wanted McCain or, in many case, NOT wanting Obama (mainly because of his tax views.
