The guy that was going with Dinosaur Flatulence as responsible for past temperature fluctuations was clearly making a joke. He was grinning, and it was obvious that he was just pulling it out as a preposterous suggestion. That guy might have been a tool that should not be in that position, but not from the soundbite that you showed as evidence of his unsuitability.

Your other guys were serious in their ignorance, blindness, or both, and it's this that makes them dangerous.

I wish Republicans would change the name of their party. They have nothing in common with the party of Abe Lincoln or Teddy Roosevelt. Maybe they could resurrect the name "The Know-Nothing Party".
