YogiDad bought one, it's a very good car. The only problem is you can't take it on a road trip really. As a regular everyday car though it's great.
SevenFingersSo, you're saying it's ALIENS.

braschlosanLove the car. Love the idea. But I must tell you the company is very bad to its normal workers. They will run you dry, burn you out and replace you with another young excited face. This cycle repeats over and over. Think salary with 6 day weeks 11 hours a day or more and this isnt just the low payed workers either, even the well educated 20 somethings get this treatment.

deathcowlove that it seats 7!

If they could just whack $50k off the price ...
Sniper007says...It's more like a minivan than a car with it's seating capacity. That is amazing. Then again, you'd expect amazing for an unobtainable $100k.
xxovercastxx$90k on a commuter car is a tough sell. My Tesla would be getting beat up in the lot at work all week, and I'd be making the 2-hour trip home to see my parents in a 1995 Hyundai Accent.
I can only hope Tesla survives long enough to have an impact on the real-world car market. Having a large company doing/driving battery R&D is also a good thing for all sorts of markets.
chingaleraThe Tesla and cars like it would be everywhere now for pennies, and the roadways would be coated with photovoltaic compounds which provided energy to the entire grid as well as the cars driving on it were it not for the cunts running the show.
The technology has been here over 40 years, but corporate cunts and their lackeys in congress' worldwide, keep it from implementation. We all know why, thieves and assholes run the planet.
A series of a combination of natural disasters, civil disobedience and perpetual guerrilla sorties on corporate entities are the only things to stop the madness at this stage in our decline.
Dream on if you think the world of free-energy and everyone driving affordable electric vehicles is in our near future-Unless you chop off the head, the beast will only grow stronger.
HugeJerksays...Tesla seems to have a clue at least... they're making a car that looks like it should cost as much as it does. The other electric or mostly-electric cars like the Volt, Prius, Focus Electric, and Leaf have price ranges around $30-40k, but they have the look of a $12k car.
volumptuousTheir stock has skyrocketed in the last year, and since this CR ranking it's gone through the roof.
Pay little attention to the current sticker price of these, in 10 years from now it will be much, much lower. Early investors are basically funding the development of this technology, and we can all now expect the big three and many manufacturers overseas to start outdoing eachother and kickstart a new revolution.
deathcowThe "Large" cargo area up front is funny.
