YT: Solo round the world yachtsman Alex Thomson performs a daring feat on board his high-speed yacht, HUGO BOSS: He climbs up the 30-meter high mast of the moving vessel and dives into the ocean.

The mast may be 30 meters, but at that angle it ain't a 30 meter jump.

Forget the guy walking up the mast (who was clearly walking on the sail).

The skill here was with the sailors keeping the boat at that angle with capsizing...

I make it 36 degrees from 0:35 in the video, considering the mast is 30 meters from the deck, lets make the hypothenus 32 meters from the base of the triangle (ocean surface), that makes the jump 18.81 meters

Depending on how the 30 meters are measured, and accounting for the difference in angles in video/reality I'd say the dive is between 17 and 20 meters.
