9 out of 10 city's managed to realise that they weren't bombs and yet Boston didn't quite get it did they. Then the media started fear mongering and hyping the potential for MASSIVE DEATH over some LED's there control chip and four D batteries. Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vega's, New York, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, and 2 more some how managed to flip out and go crazy over a what is a massive light bright seriously wtf.

Why is this called a hoax? I don't think these two men were trying to fool anyone. These "boxes" had lights in the shape of a cartoon figure. Did the cops think the Joker planted bombs all over the city?

Living in the Boston area I've actually seen the one at Fenway and there was another I believe near Sturrow Drive. It's not suprising how out of touch our government/law enforcement is. The news doesn't help much either via sensationalism/mass hysteria inducement. Alternative advertisement somehow translates into terrorist bomb placements in this crazy backwards country of ours.

This is the FUNNIEST thing ever. It proves "Homeland Security" is a joke. It proves the media is a bunch of loser, and idiots. It proves that some advertising is ok, but homemade advertising is a threat to the very essence of this country.

These magnets were laying around for a week in most locations, but Boston cops decide to issue DEFCON 1 and shutdown the city, shoot them like bombs, declare a national emergency, after finding out they are just LIGHTED SIGNS, continue to declare bomb hoax terror incite horror doom.

What absolute morons. In all levels of gov't. These guys are perfectly answering the media. What I find funny is that the buck has to land in someone's lap. And they realize they have to blame someone for their severe over-reaction. So clearly the media has to send some message about how these organized terrirst spread their doom upon Bostonians.

What a joke. And people think these idiots can keep you safe. How many billions of dollars to DHS, and they can't even subdue a mooninite invasion!!
