oritteroposays...That was rather entertaining. It didn't go in the direction I expected, and was far better for it... of course if I'd looked at the related videos section first I probably would've remembered who he was and would've been less apprehensive.
siftbotsays...Moving this video to Stonebreaker's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
hpqpsays...How in hell did this pure jewel go unnoticed? *promote!!!
also: In this *educational talk, *science and *religion are spoken of with a delicious twist of *comedic delivery.
siftbotsays...Promoting this video and sending it back into the queue for one more try; last queued - promote requested by hpqp.
Adding video to channels (Comedy, Education, Religion, Science) - requested by hpqp.
nanrodsays...Great sift. Worthy of upvote if for no other reason than the phrase "pro bono proctologists from other star systems"
Trancecoachsays...He's one of my very favorite orators... Always inspiring.
BTW, this particular clip reminded me of the famous quote from Isaac Asimov:
“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”

Trancecoachsays...By the way, this particular diatribe was part of the Trilogues between Terence, Rupert Sheldrake on the far right, and (as it is my esteemed honor to share frequently with strangers) my good friend, Ralph Abraham in the middle.
wormwoodsays...This is great. Thanks for posting.
JiggaJonsonsays...*quality
siftbotsays...Boosting this quality contribution up in the Hot Listing - declared quality by JiggaJonson.
EMPIREsays...That was surprisingly funny. And it's even funnier because it's true.

That and "What is relativism? It's the idea that there is no distinction between shit and Shinola." I love this man's delivery.
westysays...Most of what he says is grate but The intelligence test quip he makes is foolish , its easy to simply call people that fail to grasp basic logic and fall for religion as stupid , but the scary reality is that often very intelligent people can fall for religion and believe in the most stupid of shit.
gwiz665says...Then they just fail that particular intelligence test. Doesn't mean they're stupid on all issues.
I suck at physics or Chinese, some suck at observing the world, or reasoning based on evidence.
