I don't know about that for Supergirl. It reminds me of cheesy Smallville. I like the darker series of Arrow, Netflix's Daredevil, etc.

I actually agree with you in this general area. My issue, more specifically with Arrow, is that I have found the last season to be bad. I really liked seasons 1 and 2, especially whenever they flashed back to the island. I wish they would have done more of that this season.

Flash has been really tight, in my opinion, in terms of story and characters. Iris has been annoying, though, with her Lois Lane Syndrome, but I can ignore that with all the other good stuff going on.

The first part of the this was weak, but it got stronger as it went on. The music... was wrong and I liked the re-cut video that was done, just for that.

Smallville is cheesy and it went way too long (a decade!).

Flashbacks were cool in Arrow, but how much can do you do with that island though? I wonder if there will be more in the future seasons.

We'll see how Supergirl go. So far, it was a meh. I will watch it though to see how it is.

It was less about the island, and more about his past experiences. For example, did we ever find out when he joined the Russian mob? That is one of the stories I want to hear about.

Flash's future seasons might suck though. It's new right now, but how long can they keep doing it?

Well, it doesn't say region blocked, but it says on the screen "This video is not available" in that standard YouTube staticy background when I try and play it here in Canada. I would post a screenshot of what I am seeing if I knew how to do that easily.
