BoneRemakesays...No kite ?
Fusionautsays...ohhhhhh......
RadHazGsays...I have rather "fond" memories of walking at a 45deg angle attempting to get to the mailbox down the street on my way to school after boot camp in Great Lakes. I have firmly resolved to never go near the place again.
rottenseedsays...Sometimes it gets SOOOOOOOO windy here, that the trees rustle slightly.
bamdrewsays...this is when you go up in the towers and ride 'em like bucking broncos!
Fantomassays...You know the funnest thing do do in wind this strong?

I'm gonna say watch someone else jump
AdrianBlacksays...Puffs up with Pride - Even our wind has balls.
Chaucersays...That's odd. The guy that I know from Chicago always told me they called it the Windy City because they talk non-stop

I was just about to say the same thing. It's called the Windy City for it's politicians and the Chicago Tribune

Actually the reasoning behind "Windy City" is unknown:

sepatownsays...it's all fun and games until someone gets impaled by flying debris.
swedishfriendsays...Amazing that no-one was hurt by debris. We had crazy winds one night and lots of people including myself actually enjoyed it. There was something special about that night. Everything looked like a white desert with dunes of snow as high as your head where it piled up down to clean ground where the wind swept it clean. No straight lines only curves everywhere. I had to walk home that night and took my time because it was such a unique feeling. There was a slight feeling of danger from being around trees but nothing happened. From what I heard on the news people were OK that night despite the crazy weather. Something big going on in the collective consciousness that night.

blankfistsays...I wonder if he was tempted to jump into the wind with his body horizontal?
