In case anyone tries to say Biden is lying about Republican plans to kill social security, Medicare, and Medicaid, just show them this.

cloudballoonsays...Biden pwn'd McCarthy & Co. so hard.
moonsammysays...I find it so bizarre that it went down this way. If the bulk of congressional Rs don't like the idea of having Social Security and Medicare sunset, maybe they should have been vocal in pushing back on Rick Scott's proposal? Their relative silence on that front effectively proved Biden's original point, so to react so strongly to his statement seems silly. But then, the party stopped behaving seriously years ago, opting for culture war nonsense over actual impactful policy.
newtboysays...It’s not bizarre when you remember that Republicans have become pathological liars who know the policies they actually work for are not supported by their base so they simply lie about their clear written plans and people like Bob eat it up with a spoon.
As you note, their silence or even approval when Scott and Lee put their plans to kill social security, Medicare, and Medicaid on the table proves they weren’t a bit upset at the idea to kill these social programs, they were upset at their clearly written and stated party plans being stated publicly.
