Scorpion in web VS Spider

Despite being a Scorpio, I HATE scorpions. Never met one, but thats no mitigating factor. Nasty. Spiders I'm ok with though. Easy to evict, and eat annoying flying things.

I've had those dreams where theres loads of creepy crawleys etc, but I get annoyed by them, so in the dream I give myself a protective/impenetrable suit and go mashing them with a big hammer. Given the choice of destroying all insects on the planet, I might be tempted to take it, even though it would upset the ecology so much everything would soon perish. It might be worth it. Just think SG, even the stomach worms would go (wiggly things/parasites get thrown in too).

Anyway, having seen this, i might let spiders off. There kinda cool.

wow, that scorpion didn't have a chance. I'm a scorpio also and not a big fan of meeting any in person.. one morning when I was in N. California, I woke up and put a pair of shorts on. As Once I got them put on a scorpion fell out of the right legging and dropped to the floor. The thing was asleep thank god and the 3 ft. fall didn't wake him up. He was just on the floor all curled up. I was shocked and a bit freaked out at the moment and thought maybe it was dead but poked it with a pen and it woke up. Nothing better to wake you up in the morning than having scorpions fall out of your pants.

I've been stung by a scorpion, and it wasn't too bad -- a bit more painful than a bee sting, but no after-effects. Once the pain was gone in about 10 minutes, that was the end of it. Some may be more painful than others though.

It never occurred to me that a spider might catch and eat a scorpion. That spider is bad-ass!

In Arizona they have Wood Scorpions. I don't know what type of scorpion stung you arvana but wood scorpions are the most poisonous in the world next to emperor scorpions. Not to mention they are the only ones that can lay their tails flat and climb walls, and ceilings. The wound was throbbing with pain for about 2 days and felt like my flesh was burning. There is also a difference between bites and stings. Scorpions will use both to dissuade a potental threat.

HOLY FREAKING JESUS IN MY SPECIAL PLACE!!!!!

What kind of a spider is that!!!!!!!!!! Am I just misjudging the scale or is that this as big as my fist!!!!!!!!! Please, if you know, I would really like to know so that I can avoid that part of the world for the rest of my life. Tarantulas are one thing but that guy was too slick and too fast!!!!

They move fast. But usually wait for things around them to be still before taking off. If that scorpion is only a wood scorpion (I'm guessing it is seeing as how it probably fell while climbing a vertical surface or somewhat.) It's only about 1-2 inches long. Still, yeah it's a big freaking spider.

Thats called a Garden spider, also called a trampolin spider because they bounce their ass when you touch them. They also get HUGE. I've caught (and fought) several that were bigger than my hand. The one in the video looks to be a pretty good size.
