A bit of rudeness on my part aside, and call me biased if you want, but I think McConnell intentionally extra slow-walk to the podium for dramatic effect, while ignoring/disrespecting protocol. So the ensuing hilarity is well deserved IMO.

I just loved that it made everyone laugh and there was a lightheartedness to the situation. Maybe we could just enjoy this humorous moment without trying to make it political. The shit was just funny and not for any political reasons.
