I only glanced at it and didn't know what your comment was about. To me, it initially seemed like the guy on the right is performing a sliding tackle while the left guy tries to evade. That's no cause for shivering, he's still perfectly fine.
Then I noticed the right guy's leg ... now he can probably shoot around corners better than Roberto Carlos in his prime.

Reminds me of this one, though open wounds still send more shivers down my spine, for instance Ewald Lienen in '81.

EDIT: I guess i see now. But it looked like maybe he tried to avoid the guy by jumping, and just landed wrong.

If you come down on a player with your cleats it's highly dangerous....you simply can't challenge with your cleats into a player. It's a red card for seriously foul play, it endangers the safety of the opponent.
